These black anodized 7075 T6 aluminum alloy outserts have been tested and designed by experienced hunters and target archers to ensure maximum penetration and performance.

This outsert fully encompasses the base of the shaft just over 1 inch providing OUTSTANDING arrow strength and concentricity. With Micro-Glue channels inside the outsert to create a much better bonding surface this outsert is built to last shot after shot.

The Deep Impact & X-Impact Outsert Weights are a Follows:
250 Spine = 42 Grains
300 Spine = 40 Grains
350 Spine = 44 Grains
400 Spine = 46 Grains
500 Spine = 48 Grains

To install the outsert:
Select the right outsert for the right shaft and slightly circularly sand the shaft so it will just fit.
As long as you are sanding by turning the shaft and holding the ultra fine sand paper (150 grit or finer).
When the arrows are finished and the fit is good, cleaning the sanded portion in 90% alcohol or acetone will ensure a clean bonding surface. We have tested epoxy and our fletching glue and both work great. When using any epoxy glue, remember to stand the arrow upright.
